  9. I've started reading this manga in 1991...it was a sort of institution, something you were sure to find every month, every year...I've liked the first part of the manga better. The one at the university, with all the races, the crazy senpais and so on. It was so end of the eighties/middle of the nineties...then the drawings kept changing, the tone of the manga changed too and so on. It was still a pleasure reading it, but maybe something of its personality got lost with the changing of times or the changings inside the author himself, I dunno. Thank you so much for what you did in these last ten years, you made the waiting for the official volumes releases way more bearable for me. Moreover, ten years and you are still "alive". Respect.

  10. Thanks for the tremendous work, folks! It was a fun trip, even though for us here, its been a bit of a tough few weeks to get through. On June 2nd, we lost our little black & white tux Welsper (as seen on my DeviantArt page journal), and knowing the end was neigh, I was hoping they would give the little demon its just send off - I'm glad to see that it was so. Thanks again folks!

  11. I have been following Fujishima Kousuke's amazing work on this series for many, many years.... Through the 90's Ah! My Goddess was an incredibly important part of my developing love for manga, anime, and the Japanese culture in general.... I would not have taken Japanese classes in High School and College if it were not for AMG.... When GMT picked it up, I was overjoyed.... The work that you all have done on this over the years has been spectacular.... I am incredibly thankful for all you have done to bring this work to us with such great scanlation quality.... I honestly and sincerely can NOT thank you enough.... It is so very appreciated.... I hope you are all proud of the work you have done, because it is unparalleled in the scanlation scene and your dedication is truly unrivaled.... No one has been so dedicated.... The number of groups that manage to even keep to a project for a year is extremely low.... Thank you....

  12. In the far future, I know this comment will either become a part of a log thats lost in deep web or deleted from a server that we never knew its location. But I'll say this. I, practically, grew up with this manga and You're Under Arrest. My childhood, my teenage years and now as a man who has a family. Fujishima Kousuke was the one who installed my love for manga. Right now, when I look around I only see over sexualized heroes/heroines, gore, desecrated moral values, etc.
Purity is a concept that's long gone and entertainment is the only selling point. Ah! My Goddess kept the core aspects(work hard, keep believing, patience, love, care for everyone in need, etc.)
I'll buy the last volume and store them safely and when the time comes I'll make my kids start reading it and feel the things I felt once long ago.
And you, Miyaku Team, a deep thank you from the bottom of my heart. The quality, the dedication and your commitment till the end. It was an awesome ride with you.

  13. I may not be worthy to stand next to those who found this series so long ago, but here is my thanks. Ah! My Goddess was the first anime I ever watched, so that alone puts it in a special place in my heart. When I reached the end of the anime I was so sad that that was it, the end. I'm embarrassed to say that it was several months before I realized there was a manga as well. As soon as I found out, I binge read until I caught up (Ch 263). Since then, hardly a day went by I wasn't checking my email to see if the next chapter was updated. Ah! My Goddess is by far the purest, most amazing, and all-around best manga I have ever read. Thank you to whomever it was who decided to start translating was has become my favorite manga of all time.
